RIDE PLAY FIRST GIG IN TWENTY YEARS

Reformed shoegaze band Ride played their first live set since their reunion on Easter Sunday in their hometown of Oxford.
The group, who played their last gig twenty years ago, played their first full-band set at Oxford’s O2 Academy after only announcing the surprise concert only a week prior.
Tickets for the unexpected event sold out in an hour.
Performing to an audience of only 500 people, Ride’s performed a selection of their most-famed songs such as ‘Vapour Trail’, ‘Chelsea Girl’ and ‘Leave Them All Behind’.
Ride are set to play at Coachella before returning to the UK in May for a tour which see’s the band visit Glasgow, Manchester and London before embarking onwards to locations such as Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam and New York.
The band is also due to release compilation ‘OX4_ The Best of Ride’ on limited edition double red vinyl for Record Store Day.
