The Daily Mirror has proposed that an Oasis reformation could be forthcoming following the Gallagher’s brother reaching a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ for a reunion next year.

The Britpop pioneer dissembled in 2009 following Noel announcing that his couldn’t work any longer with Liam as one’s of the main motives for the spilt.

Despite these disagreements, Liam posted a picture on Twitter of himself holding a backstage pass to his older brother’s gig last month.

The rumours arrive close to the release of Britpop competitor Blur’s new album The Magic Whip, their first album with the founding members since 2003’s Think Tank.

Despite the rumours being unofficial, The Daily Mirror has claimed the information has come from a ‘well placed source’.
