After that, every time I heard any type of music I would listen to it in that way so I became intrigued by all the other type of genres in music and I started to explore other styles. I’m a little bit of a mix between a whole range of musical types, but rap and hip-hop will always be one of my main influences.”
Putting aside the eruption of music in the district of his earlier days, what other 1990s qualities have motivated Autumn in June? “I really enjoy the quality of the sounds that they used in the 90s. You can see this with all these artists from differing styles of music collaborating with each other. Also, the Internet has allowed everyone to explore the music scene in a way that wasn’t previously possible.”
So was the 1990s really the acclaimed period which it became known as in music? Autumn in June holds mixed impressions on the topic. “I feel like it was a peak era for certain types of music, but not all music.” He declares. “We have a lot of really dope musicians out there at the moment making some really cool shit. However, there is a lot of more music to look through now so it can be hard to find those gems. There is no doubt that the 90s will always be remembered as a great period for music and an influential time for so many of today’s artists.” Autumn in June ends his judgment with.
